I highly recommend Bob for anyone experiencing chronic pain or discomfort.
Over the past 11 years I have seen many doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, trainers, and most recently a back specialist at an area Pain Management Clinic for chronic pain, inflammation, and restricted mobility in my back, hips, and legs. The majority of doctors I have seen have been quick to diagnosis with very little examination and write me up prescriptions for painkillers, muscle relaxers, and cortisone injections to reduce the pain and inflammation. I realized over time that these were all band aids and did not get to the root of the issues. The side effects were further reducing my quality of life and health. I developed depression and was experiencing significant grief and loss of all I once was able to do and feel good about (running, biking, driving, traveling, being fully engaged with my children and spouse...). I have worked with 6 PTs over the past 11 years and for the past 5 years I have been solely working with Bob. Working with Bob has helped me gain the knowledge, strategies, strength, and confidence I needed to overcome the depression associated with the back and leg issues and better manage any flare-ups (99% due stress induced) when they arise.
Bob is very professional and knowledgeable in the field and continues to seek further professional growth. He is always patient-centered, a great listener, compassionate and respectful. He is not quick to label and does not push the use of drugs or the latest treatment crazes to band-aid issues. He does not promote (unnecessary) ongoing visits...he provides flexibility in scheduling to get me in when I have a flare up and back to living fully as quickly as possible. In the past 2 years I have seen him 2x for 3-5 visits each time. This means a lot to me as I am sure it does for most. I don't have the time or $$$ to continue seeing a provider for adjustments or maintenance for weeks, months, etc.
Bob is he is an educator which is so valuable in the recovery process. Over the years, I have had no other provider that has the knowledge base Bob has in the area of chronic pain or the drive to educate me so I can better understand my unique challenges and needs. He clearly believes in educating patients to empower us and help us gain confidence, independence, and abilities back as quickly as possible. I now understand that chronic pain is not always a joint or muscle problem and the brain plays a major role in what I feel and think. This knowledge has been life changing. I no longer chalk all my discomfort up to that injury 11 years ago and beat myself up over that incident. I realize the pain is most often being produced by my brain now and the sensitivity of the nervous system.
As for a coach, Bob leads his practice with strong communication skills, patience, and sensitivity. He inspires confidence and motivates me during sessions when I don't feel strong enough to cross the "finish line". He is a great listener and problem solver. Six weeks ago I joined a gym he has recommended to me for a couple years. It took me a while to commit but I couldn't be happier with the decision and haven't felt this strong in 11 years. He did a great job of matching me up with a gym where he knew I would feel comfortable and be well cared for. Forever grateful for all his support and guidance throughout this journey to living my best life and being a role model for my children.

“It was very helpful to have physical therapy to really learn how to move freely again, so that I could get back to normal activities, and really get back to all the great things about life that I enjoy. “
Kristina S."I have had the privilege of working with Bob Brady since February 2018 after my first total hip replacement. He was able to guide me through the process of surgery, rehabilitation, strength training, pain management, and most importantly belief that I would be able to recover and be stronger and better than I was before the surgery. He then got me through my second total hip replacement in July 2018. He worked with me and encouraged me to do more than I thought possible. I am now participating in his exercise class twice a week for balance, strength, mobility and endurance.I have my life back, my hope back and most importantly my belief that life can be lived without pain and restriction.Bob is extremely skilled in knowing what I needed without me even being able to verbalize it and for this I will be forever grateful. I hope all who read this have the opportunity to call Bob and work with him in whatever capacity you are needing." Katrina H."I heard about Bob through a family member and am forever grateful to have met him. I had gone to many doctors and other physical therapists and tried many ways of dealing with severe neck and shoulder pain before meeting Bob. He helped me with the pain immediately, and was compassionate and understanding throughout it all. He wasn’t just looking to “diagnose” me and move on to the next person, he cared enough to understand exactly what was wrong and help me through it. I’ve had headaches and pain for two years, and Bob gave me exercises to strengthen those weak muscles and I feel better than I ever have. I highly recommend Bob for anyone who needs help with their pain.” |
Kevin L."My wife recommended me to see Bob after she met with him for hamstring issues following her triathlons. I had been bothered by a combination of tendinitis (golfers elbow and tennis elbow) for approximately 3 months following my son's baseball season, resulting from throwing fly balls. I had not seen a therapist previously, but the pain had become annoying enough and was restricting exercise, etc. After my first session with Bob, I felt immediate results, with approximately 50-60% improvement in both range of motion, and mostly pain reduction. Bob gave me simple exercises to do daily. I saw him for a total of three times over four weeks and my issue was almost completely resolved. He has a great personality and listens intently to the issue, and knows his stuff.”
Diane A."I have gotten great results from Bob at ProMotion. After suffering though shoulder pain for a couple months I decided to see Bob for a consult. His office location and hours were extremely convenient or I probably wouldn't have gone in. This was my first visit to a physical therapist....ever, so I didn't know what to expect. I started scheduling 2 visits a week and after two weeks was able to drop down to one time a week. I'm happy to say I've been gradually introducing more weights at the gym again and am able to, once again, do the types of arm. shoulder, and back motion I used to do. If I find myself in a similar situation in the future, I will not wait so long before having Bob take a look.” |
Roz B."I worked with Bob for low back pain that I thought was unmanageable, yet he got me back to doing all my normal activites. I had tried massage, chiropractor, and another physical therapist. Bob's technique was so different - I was ACTIVELY working my back and slowly but surely getting better! I would definately recommend Bob to my friends and family!" |
Pete R."I came to Bob Brady with lower back problems that have been with me over the past year. I found Bob very helpful in losing up the lumbar region so I can move better. He gave me a number of exercises to keep it moving."

"ProMotion got me back on bike again! Professional, kind and impactful are the three words that best describe my experience. After a skiing injury and subsequent surgery, I need help getting back to my daily routines. ProMotion made sure I was able to do the things that I love. Thanks!"
Jessica V."Fantastic experience with Bob at ProMotion. I am a mom of 2 young athletes ( 14 & 17). Both experienced sports related injuries recently. I am AMAZED at how much Bob helped both heal. What I liked best about ProMotion is that Bob gave the boys tools to strengthen their bodies outside of the weekly sessions, making them accountable for their recovery. In the past we have spent lots of time/ money on multiple visits to PT without the guidance we received from Bob. He is a healer and an athlete so understands how important getting back to your sport is. Really can't say enough!" |
Keri B."I went and saw Bob because I was having pain in my glute, right leg and knee for months. Bob was able to find the cause of my pain which was my lower back. I saw Bob a few times for PT on my back and he sent me home with a plan and exercises. After a few short weeks I am back to running pain free. I can’t thank Bob enough for helping me so I can continue to do what I love. I highly recommend Bob. He is excellent at making you feel comfortable, spends time explaining things and answers all your questions."

"I couldn't be happier with my experience at ProMotion Physical Therapy. The bottom line: I'm back to doing what I had been doing before I was injured. Beyond that, Bob Brady listened to what I was confident caused the injuries and to what my goals were moving forward. As an athlete, I am very tuned in to my body's physical symptoms and performance. Bob understands that, so the conversations were mutually respectful discussions. He was able to diagnose what was going on and provide home strength and stretching exercises along with about six physical therapy sessions and and now I'm back to doing everything I could do before. I will say however, that I am a good patient and did everything outside of the sessions he asked me to do in terms of strength and stretching exercises. That is a key part of getting better… A combination of good physical therapy sessions and a patient willing to do what's needed to be done outside of the sessions. He also provided a plan for me so that I gradually moved forward without re-injuring myself again. I highly recommend Bob Brady and ProMotion Physical Therapy."
Jacob S."Bob has been excellent to work with and I am grateful for ProMotion. I have dealt with chronic neck pain for years. I assumed I wold probably just have to accept it and deal with it forever. After my first appointment, I felt so much relief, I was stunned. Over the course of several follow up visits, I saw continued improvement in my pain level and Bob taught me exercises that helped manage my flare ups as well as strengthen myself to help with long-term recovery. Bob Knows his stuff and has been a life-saver. I can’t recommend him highly enough." |
Lane H."Bob At ProMotion helped me work through a shoulder issue sustained early in 2020. Whether I was traveling for work or in quarantine due to Covid-19, he was able to work with my schedule and implement a hotel/home workout based off of what was available to me. My shoulder is now on the mend but I will go back to Bob on any future injuries and highly recommend him to others."
