A Personal Message From Specialist Physical Therapist, Bob Brady…
Bob Brady
Specialist Physical Therapist |
Back pain is the number one musculoskeletal condition that prevents people from doing the things they want to do. It is very common and research shows that up to 80% of us will have an episode of back pain in our lives. The good news is that the majority of back pain will and can get better on its own. The bad news is that for some, the pain does not resolve on its own. This can have a significant impact on the person's quality of life and ability to do the things they enjoy.
Perhaps you are finding that your back pain is limiting your ability to walk for exercise or even just walk around a store. Maybe you cannot exercise the way you want or sit very long before your back pain increases. Many people find it a challenge to sleep well because of their back pain. I know that these are very common for people with back pain, because I have experienced these things my self! When you have back pain, it is common to start to worry that there is something seriously wrong. You may have even started to avoid doing the things you enjoy doing for fear of making your back worse. Perhaps you know someone else who had to have injections or surgery for their back and you want to avoid this but do not know what to do. If you have seen your Doctor about your back pain, you may have been given medication that either does not work or has some serious side effects. Or, perhaps you were told that your spine is degenerating, has arthritis, bulging discs, etc. These are all scary terms that make you wonder if you will ever be able to do the things you want to again without back pain. If you are feeling confused, concerned, overwhelmed, or frustrated with your back pain and don't know what to do, let me tell you that you are not alone. I have treated many people like you in my career-people that wanted to stay active and live a healthy life, without back pain and without taking medications or having injections and surgeries. You do not have to be limited by your back pain. Many people we work with are able to return to doing the things that they want to do and live the healthy, active life that they enjoy. If you are currently having back pain or have in the past, and want to find out how we can help you return to living the life you want, please call to talk to our therapist or inquire about an appointment below. Also, I invite you to download my FREE Report about the Common Misconceptions About Back Pain. This report will help you to gain a better understanding about what the research shows regarding back pain so that you can begin to move forward in your recovery to a better quality of life. "I have been seeing a chiropractor for many years. I had what I thought was a spinal misalignment problem. After a few visits he suggested I see a physical therapist because my problem was not with my spine. A friend recommended Bob Brady. I called, and after one visit it improved. I told Bob I liked to golf but my game had gone south. I passed it off as age (72) but Bob has improved the original problem and it has also improved my golf because I am now more flexible and the joy of the game is back. Thanks Bob!" READ MORE >>

"I worked with Bob for low back pain that I thought was unmanageable, yet he got me back to doing all my normal activites. I had tried massage, chiropractor, and another physical therapist. Bob's technique was so different - I was ACTIVELY working my back and slowly but surely getting better! I would definately recommend Bob to my friends and family!" READ MORE >>
